Patrick Mahomes QB Props

In five years as the starting QB of the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to five consecutive AFC Championship games, and Sunday will be the Chiefs’ 3rd Super Bowl appearance in the last five years.

Caesars has some interesting QB props for Mahomes, and we’ll share a pair of our favorites.

Patrick Mahomes Under 0.5 interceptions -104

Mahomes hasn’t thrown an interception yet during the playoffs and has been interception free in five of his last six games. Mahomes has chucked four Super Bowl interceptions, but the Eagles aren’t an aggressive secondary, with only one playoff interception and 17 picks during the regular season.

Mahomes has completed nearly 70% of his passes during the playoffs, and he should continue that trend and stay Under 0.5 interceptions.

Patrick Mahomes Under 19.5 rushing yards -115

Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain in the Chiefs’ victory over Jacksonville. While he may want to run, Mahomes has scampered six times for 16 yards over his two playoff appearances and rushed for 19 or fewer seven times during the regular season.

The Eagles average four sacks per game, and they will try and force him to run, but Mahomes has been dynamite in the pocket and won’t be tucking the ball and rushing for more than 19.5 rushing yards on Sunday.

Jalen Hurts QB Props

Hurts has had a phenomenal season. He’s thrown for 3701 yards with 22 TD passes with six interceptions and rushed for 760 yards and 13 TDs.

Including the playoffs, the Eagles are 16-1 when Hurts starts the ballgame, and we like these Jalen Hurts’ props at Caesars.

Jalen Hurts Over 1.5 TD passes -109

The knock against Hurts is that he is a running back with a strong arm, but that strong-armed “running back” has thrown two TD passes in over half of his games.

It could have easily been more if not for the lopsided nature of the Eagles’ games. Super Bowl LVII is expected to be close, the Chiefs have an exploitable secondary, and Hurts will have to throw the ball, and at least two TD passes in this contest.

Jalen Hurts Over 238.5 passing yards -117

The Chiefs’ defense is much better against the run than the pass, and Hurts and his WR room are going to hurt Kansas City through the air.

Hurts has thrown for more than 239 yards eight times this season–he’s been nursing a sore shoulder, but he’s had an additional two weeks to rest, and he’ll do what he needs to do to win this game, and he will throw for at least 239 yards on Sunday.
